Space invadersĪ Space Invaders-like game, where you have a turret and shoot on enemies coming from the sky. With special objects (spring, rocks), score and Game Over handling! Discover and try this example. Endless up runnerĪ game where the player have to jump on platforms and avoid falling down as the screen goes up. Was she hunting? Or exploring? It looks like she was standing motionless until the Boy surprised her.Simple game where the player must use his laser powered gun to destroy zombies running at him. Additionally, it would be nice if we will learn what the Cat Girl was actually doing when they met. So the escape scene is fine, although simple, but as soon as you are on the surface, I think it would be cool to have some slow moments in which the Boy tries to stand on his own legs and to explore the world down there. Maybe your start is a little bit too fast. You really really need to fix these Mapping errors, it would be so sad if such a lovely game get's bad reviews or players quitting it because of the Mapping.Īnd another thought, it's not a point of critism, more a matter of taste. a barrel at the edge of a cliff in the middle of nowhere? Why would there be a barrel? Second, some assets just look arbitrarily thrown in. That really disturb the boulder puzzles making them unplayable. Some tiles are passable, although they shouldn't (trees, signs), and vice versa, some tiles are NOT passable although they should (edges, small bushes). But that's not bad as Mapping is something every can learn! The first problem is, the game has too many mapping errors. Sometimes I just need some little dose of cute Anime clichees! Your cat character maybe looks alike the usual bright anime girl, however, especially with the relationship to Crutch, I like her. I think having an abused being has a lot of potential to give him depth. It's exactly the opposite! Just a few moments into your game and I understand how your world works. The world having a floating city and dangerous surface is surely not reinventing the wheel, and many people would say it's wornout clichees, and usually so do I, but for me it's not a problem. My thought so far: I really like your story! It's nice, lovely and charming. I played about half an hour and I'm on the second boulder puzzle. I dunno why, but I really love stories about mazes and worlds with levels. SAO maybe? The idea of having multiple levels reminds me on SAO, yes. Sooo, as a big fan of the Maze Runner series, I instantly look at every game title having "Maze" or "Labyrinth" in it, even your game has nothing to do with the novels but more like. But this game is all about exploration, so it may enrich your experience. Whether or not you choose to explore the world around you to the fullest is entirely up to you. Labyrinthians is heavily character and story based, and many of the side characters have unique and interesting backstories that you can choose to explore through several character-oriented side quests. This game may contain some horror elements down the line, so if you're easily scared or are sensitive to depictions of trauma and the repercussions of it, play through this game carefully or opt to not play this game due to it being a major focus of the story. This is my first RPG Maker game (and game in general) and I have been working really hard on it, so I hope you'll give it a shot <3 It's always best to prepare in advance! I am constantly updating and working on the game so if you encounter a bug, please let me know and I will try to get it fixed right away. ![]() Since this game is in an early demo, I highly suggest that you save often, in case any unexpected bugs appear. Right now, you can play up until the end of the First Layer, which can take anywhere from 2 hours for a quick playthrough to 5 or more hours if you want to get absolutely everything and find every secret. It is time to take up the mantle.Īs it stands currently, this project is a demo. The world stands on the edge of a time of astounding discovery and fearless development. Endemic to the Labyrinth these monsters dwell, and Orello was constructed on top of their homelands to keep them isolated from the rest of the world.Īnd so the task of containing these monsters and exploring all the Labyrinth has to offer lies on the shoulders of Orello's citizens. teeming with monsters of all kinds, great and small, kind and savage. Under the great barrier city of Orello lies a vast Labyrinth. ![]()
